Quite close to Termini Metro station(1,5 km), Continental breakfast, Luggage store (free), lift, clean towel every day.
There is no fridge!, There is no remote controll of air conditioner, but at least there is one in the room ( move by staff of porta, so loud the wc, the head of shower is fixed on cellar, there is no mini-bar, small old (crt) tv, there is no internet and computer in the hotel.
I liked the friendliness of the staff upon arrival, and the 24 hour reception enabled me to come in at any time during the night without feeling like I was disturbing other guests.
It would be good if breakfast finished at a later time, I miss ed it and this was unfortunate!
The staff very kind spcially the reception guy (lois)
But the location from the nearest metro station about 15 minutes walking not as the map show but u can take the tram to the nearst metro the tram about 7 minutes walking the area not safe after 11:30 pm no somthig happen but the reception told that
Staff were helpful, room was clean and hotel was good value for money
When we arrived there the hotel was dark and so old .There was no elevator for upstairs, so we had to carry our luggage from stairs on very bad condition. They asked for the cost of two nights in advance, even before check in .Receptions and staff were not welcome. When we faced with this situation we decided to leave for next day ,they asked us to cancel it through booking .com .We cancelled our second night but as soon as we showed our cancelation they refused to accept it .In overall they were so disrespectful .I will never ever go there .I don't know how they evaluate such a place as a three star hotel. You can not call this terrible place hotel.
Bad comfort, bad breakfast, bad placement (too long walk from station)
Firstly, The hotel was too far from the Termini Station which was wrongly mentioned in the review. We had to walk everyday 45 minutes to main termini city centre. We were just getting tired to keep on walking up and down twice a day. Secondly, there were very few staff to manage the hotel and two ladies staff to manage the breakfast layout. Thirdly, inspite of giving instruction to let the Air conditioner on through out the night, the receptionist were conveniently swtiching off the same who have the A.C. switches control at their reception . We had to wake up 2 a.m. and 4 am to contact the reception to ask them to switch on the A.C.
Away from crowded area ,near train station
Services as internet only in hotel lobby and not working properly ,cable tv not working in rooms
We were four families & we had booked 4 rooms. Personally, we had asked for a quadruple room. The same was very small & mostly nothing worked in the beginning including the 12" tv. Air condition was controlled from the main reception & inspite of us requesting them not to switch off, the same was switched off in the middle of the night 3 times out of 4. The beds are rickety & the bunk bed was also very rickety making us scared of it breaking any time.Same informed but nothing done. There was no refrigerator also, so we could not keep anything to cool. Overall it was the worst stay of ours in Italy.
Very nice and helpfull personel in Reception, they explain how to get to the most famous places and if you have any questions regarding less popular interesting places, they help too:) Hotel is close to metro station, close to Termini Station and also 15 min walk to Colosseum. Supermaket is 5 min walk away. Room and bathroom is clean and nice, for us big enough, towels every day fresh. Mila I pomocna obsluga w Recepcji, pomogli w dotarciu do najciekawszych miejsc, nawet tych mnniej popularnych.
The breakfast for me was not full- I missed vegetables and yogurt- continental breakfast should include it. Tv was not working. Sniadanie dla mnie niepelne- brak warzyw I jogurtu- a kontynentalne powinno to zawierac. Tv nie dzialala.
The hotel exceeded my expectations after having read other reviews. The staff was cordial and efficient, and our room and bathroom were more than adequate. I've probably stayed in ten different 2/3-star hotels around Rome in the last year or so for work, and I'd say the room and bathroom were larger than average -- no doors bumping into the bed or toilet here. When we returned to the room around 1 am, there was noise coming from next door, but a quick call to reception took care of it immediately, and we had no problem getting to sleep. The location was totally convenient to the station and the center, but the street itself wasn't quite as sketchy and packed full of tourist buses as some of the other streets in the area. I will definitely return.
I need to raise my huge disappointment here. Me and my wife (who's pregnant), booked this hotel based on the ranking 3 starts. When we reached there, the first surprise was the location: nothing around except the rail way + dodgy streets. Second surprise: the room. A tv that doesn't work and a window facing the rail way and avenue that would not let us sleep at all. Toilets were ok as long as you don’t exceed 1.4m tall. Third surprise: when we asked to change the room, we've been relocated to a room where the bed was 2 single beds with 1 very shaky that you feel you’re risking your life by just sleeping on it. Considering it was already 00.30am, I’ve decided to sleep on a double deck bed. That was without counting on the inexistent sound insulation: we could hear each and every breath of the room next door, and snoring of course. Again, sleeping was just impossible At the end, me and my wife, who I repeat is pregnant, went down a second time to complain this was not a 3 start hotel, probably more a motel and certainly not worth 70euros. As expected, no solution has been presented to us. We left the hotel at 1.30am in the hope of finding a room in a decent place (easy thing in Rome at this time…) we ended up paying another 100 or 110 euros the same night in another hotel. Is there any way a refund could be made on the first hotel? Best regards Stephane niemczyk
the original features and warm rooms
Very friendly, polite, relaxed staff. Traditional decoration. Good location. Quiet street. Good restauranst just 50 meters from the hotel. Nice reception.
A little bit cold during the night. Little bed. Simple breakfast and coffee.
Perfect location for a short stay and sightseeing. Nice staff, good continental breakfast. Rather small rooms - but it is absolutely ok for a two-three days stay.
